A. Regular meetings

ACBC meets once a month on the first Wednesday of the month (unless specified otherwise). General meetings take place in different locations, as specified by hosts.

In these meetings we lead discussions that focus on relevant pastoral care issues and share personal experiences.

B. Guest speakers

Who come to us from various interest themes, followed by question and answers.

In the past, we had the following speakers:

"Find the psychological Disorders":  Dr. Phil Feldman & Drew Losack, LCSW, ACSW

They spoke to us about people who have psychological disorders:                                        Aggressive behavior, psychological disorders coupled with substance abuse, psychiatric cases of Children who feel “wiped off” of the social networks in schools, informal social networks. These children can sometimes feel so “invisible” and forgotten, that they will act out in extreme measures of violence for the purpose of being recognized, noticed, “seen”.

"Gun Control, Behavioral Health and the Justice System": Patrick Hughes, LCSW                     A session devoted to work with the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department.

"Case study of recent and relevant Bio-Ethical in the media": Discaussion led by our      members.
