CHAPLAIN CHARLES V. SINGLETARY, CMC, is a Certified Master Chaplain. He is the pastor at the Reformed Church of Oradell and at the Bergen New Bridge Medical Center in Paramus, NJ. He is a Graduate of the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) and of the Clinical Pastoral Education Residency Program at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.
He has completed training and earned Certificates in “Disaster Chaplain Training” in Disaster Spiritual Care, Field Operations, Disaster Mental Health, and Self-Care from the National Disaster Interfaith Network (NDIN) in partnership with New York Disaster Interfaith Services (NYDIS); is a certified Bergen County Disaster Chaplain; a certified Response Crisis chaplain; a Faith and Grief facilitator; and a senior chaplain for the Bergen County Council of Churches.
Chaplain Singletary graduated from Drew Theological Seminary, John Jay College, and Rutgers College in NJ. He has earned a M.T.S., MA and BA degrees. He also completed RCA graduate courses at The New Brunswick Theological Seminary. He is an Alumnus (Graduate) of the Lott Carey Foreign Mission Pastoral Excellence Program; and a 2010 Graduate of the Bergen LEADS Leadership Program.
Chaplain Singletary is affiliated with; The Academy of Certified Chaplains, the Association of Professional Chaplains, the United States Chaplains Association, the American Board of Certified Master Chaplains in partnership with the the American Board for Certification in Homeland Security; and the World Bishops Councils.

Ziona is the Interfaith Associate chaplain at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ, where she is the ‘On call’ chaplain in addition on working on the units. She is also a certified Disaster Chaplain in Bergen County and a certified American Cross Disaster Spiritual care provider. She was trained (CPE) at Valley
Hospital and Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ. Ziona was ordained at The Academy for Jewish Religion in New York in 2010. In her rabbinic role she serves the community as an educator, a service leader and life cycle officiant.
Ziona is the daughter of Holocaust survivors, and was born and raised in Haifa, Israel. She served in the Israeli Defense Force as an Electronic Intelligence Sergeant during the War of Attrition, and studied Biblical archaeology and ancient languages in Tel Aviv University. Ziona is a Cultural Anthropology and taught as an adjunct professor of cultural anthropology at Montclair State University, New Jersey. She served on the bio-ethic committees of Valley Hospital, and is affiliated with the New Jersey Board of Rabbis, the National Association of Jewish Chaplains (NAJC), and the Association of Rabbis and Cantors (ARC).
Ziona is the recipient of the Alumna of the Year 2019 Award, from the Academy for Jewish Religion in NY.
Past President: The Rev. Norman V. Beale
Norman Beale grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana. He majored in History and Education at the Furman University in South Carolina. He later taught in elementary school and received an MS in Education in 1983. He had a strong interest in theater and dance and after moving to New York City he explored a career in Modern Dance.
Norman and his wife worked in mission and community development efforts in Nepal over the period 1987-2001. When back in the USA in 2001, Norman served in two Episcopal parishes and then went back to Asia to serve as the priest in the Anglican international parish in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, 2008- 2010. Since 2010, Norman has served as a Chaplain in a Veterans Home, working in the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs. He has served As the Canon for Vocational and Volunteer Chaplains of Bishop Derek Jones in the Anglican Jurisdiction of the Armed Forces and Chaplaincy since 2012. Since July 2015 he serves as the Abbot of the Order of St. Martin of Tours. Norman lives in Ramsey New Jersey and has two adult children. His interests are missions, outdoor activities, bird watching, history, anthropology, photography and calligraphy.

Pastor, Friends to Friends Community Church
Chaplain, Eastern Christian Children's Retreat
Rev Dr Van Sant is the pastor of the Friends to Friends Community Church, an RCA congregation of people on the whole spectrum of ability. She also serves as a part time chaplain for the Eastern Christian Children's Retreat located in Wyckoff NJ, a human services agency providing support services to people who are also uniquely gifted living in both group homes as well as in residence at the main campus in Wyckoff NJ.
As a second career Pastor, Rev Dr Van Sant was ordained as a PCUSA Minister of the Word and Sacrament in 2012. Pastor Joanne served the Faith Reformed Church in Monmouth County for 2 years. In 2015 she answered the call and relocated from the Jersey Shore, to be installed as the Pastor Friends to Friends Community Church in 2015. Rev Dr Van Sant completed her Doctorate of Ministry in the discipline of Pastoral Care and Counseling. Her work, A Place at the Table, provided a perspective of the church and the inclusive discipleship of people with Intellectual and Developmental disabilities. She continues her work in spiritual development, faith practice, worship and advocacy for people living on the entire spectrum of physical, intellectual, developmental, neurodiversity and even the undiagnosed becoming full and included members of the church.Pastor at Friends to Friends Community Church and Chaplain at Eastern Christian Children's Retreat
